GOTS ORGANIC COTTON SHORT SLEEVE T-SHIRT

DEEP PURPLE / Hush

After a short tour of Denmark, Blackmore suggested another name for the group: Deep Purple , the title of his grandmother's favorite song, a 1933 composition by pianist Peter DeRose.
The band's first performance under its new name took place in Tastrup, Denmark, on April 20, 1968.
The following day, at Pye Studios in London, they recorded their first single, a cover of Joe South's " Hush ." It was released in June and became a hit in the United States and Canada, but not in the United Kingdom.
A video recording of the song was made in which the musicians appear to be having fun by a pool.
