Tonight, The Byrds play at the Meehan Auditorium at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. September 1970 is coming to an end, and they've almost completed their metamorphosis into birdmen.
Roger McGuinn is now joined by Clarence White, an extraordinary guitarist, Skip Battin on bass, and Gene Parsons on drums. Absolutely volatile, they fill the air with their chords and trills. Tim Hardin accompanies the evening.
In those months, the double LP titled, or not, Untitled appeared and the band was already starting to prepare the next one: Byrdmaniax.
